Aubenton and its surroundings

Where authenticity and landscape meet

In the heart of the Thiérache lies Aubenton: a village where life still follows the calm rhythm of the French countryside. Here you will find no hurry, but the charm of a community that cherishes its traditions.

Aubenton has a real French baker with fresh bread and pastries every day, a cosy bar where villagers meet, a restaurant serving honest regional dishes and a small supermarket that offers exactly what you need.

The little river Ton winds through the village — a clear stream that shapes the valley and invites you to walk or take a canoe trip. The surroundings are typically Thiérache: rolling meadows, old hedgerows, half-timbered houses and woods that tell a new story every season.

Aubenton is a place where nature, history and village life come together. A place you do not just visit, but experience.
